Pacific Gas and Electric Company is pleased to sponsor the 2008 Configuration Management Benchmarking Group Conference.

The conference is a great way to meet and share important information and experiences with other Configuration Management practitioners throughout the nuclear industry and government nuclear facilities.  The theme of this year’s conference is “Maintaining the Balance”. [You can visit the CMBG website at www.cmbg.org for information about this and past conferences.]

As in the past, this year’s agenda is filled with timely topics of true relevance to successful implementation of Configuration Management in our industry.  If you haven’t attended a CMBG conference in the past, you should make plans to attend this important event.  Your participation and knowledge sharing will add significant value to the conference and allow you to learn many of the best industry practices in this area.

The conference begins Sunday evening and ends at noon on Wednesday.  A preliminary conference agenda has been established to include the following:

2008 Conference Registration

The conference registration fee is only $250.  This includes a welcoming reception on Sunday evening, breakfast, lunch and refreshments daily and a dinner on the cliffs on Monday evening. The method of payment for the conference: Credit card registration via the Cliffs Resort by Emailing or faxing (preferred) the attached form to alice@cliffsresort.com 30 days in advance, or by check made out to PG&E-CMBG mailed to:

Hotel Reservations

The CMBG rates are $139 non-view, $159 coastal view and $179 ocean view per night for guest rooms.  The reservation cutoff date is May 1, 2008.  After this date, reservations will be accepted as available and will be at the hotel’s normal rates. You can register at CMBG.org, or call the Cliffs Resort at 800-826-7827.  Please specify that you are part of the Configuration Management Benchmarking Group to get the conference rate.
